We love puppies and kittens just as much as the next person (maybe even more!) but that doesn’t mean we don’t work hard to make sure as many pets have loving homes as possible. One of the best ways to achieve that goal is through responsible spay and neuter practices among pet owners.
Our pet hospital is fully equipped to ensure a safe and comforting environment for your pet before, during and after their surgery. We make sure that each animal is appropriately screened for their procedure, helping to make sure they’re healthy for a spay or neuter. All of our patients have an IV catheter in place with IV fluids when undergoing any anesthetic procedure. State of the art safety monitors for anesthesia -- including end-tidal CO2, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitors and ECG with active body warming systems -- allow our team to keep careful track of your pet’s vital signs. Once we’re all done, your pet wakes up for an easy recovery with us before we send them home.
Your pet is important to you, which is why our veterinary team takes every step to make sure your pet’s surgery goes well. That includes appropriate instructions for their care at home and a pain management plan that’s tailored to every pet. If you have any questions about the process, potential associated costs, or scheduling, please feel free to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to provide additional information.
