Located on the serene banks of Issaquah Creek on Gilman Boulevard, we are an independently owned Issaquah veterinary clinic dedicated to providing honest and practical care for your furry family members.
Dr. Winnie Peng, Veterinarian, has lived and practiced veterinary medicine in the Issaquah area for nearly 20 years.
Originally an Arizona-native, she went to undergrad and veterinary school at Colorado State University. She graduated summa cum laude, and among top of her class. Her areas of expertise include internal medicine, dentistry, endoscopy, and surgery.
In 1999, she moved up to the Pacific Northwest where she met and married her wife in 2014. Their four-legged kids are a feisty kitty named Colby, a loyal golden named Jackson, and in spirit, a beloved handsome beagle named Rolo who was the inspiration for this hospital.
Her interests outside of work include travel, golf, and craft brews!
Dr. Peng also speaks English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Erica Nelson, Veterinary Technician, was born and raised in the Midwest but has lived in the Seattle area for the past 12 years. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1998 with her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology and has worked in the field since 1996. She has special interests in dentistry, surgical nursing and geriatric medicine and has also taught veterinary technology at the Minnesota school of Business and Pima College in Renton.
Outside of work, she enjoys fostering kittens -- particularly neonatal litters -- through the local humane society. Erica also keeps busy with her husband, 3 children, dog, and 2 cats. Her oldest daughter is a budding artist, her middle daughter is in the Wenatchee Youth Circus, and her son considers himself an American Ninja Warrior.
Julie Lausterer, Director of Operations, was born in Illinois and moved to Marco Island, FL as a child where she discovered her love for tennis and boating. She graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine and then eventually found her way out to the Seattle area to work for one of the Fortune 10 companies in the city.
Not only did she fall in love with the Pacific Northwest, she also fell in love with her partner and they were married in 2014.
After 14 years in telecommunications and tech, she decided to leave the corporate world behind and take her HR, operations, and marketing experience into the private sector where she has had a lifetime of passion for animals and animal advocacy.
Audrey grew up in Issaquah while enjoying cat 4-H and taking care of her family goats and chickens. In 2001, she decided to enter veterinary medicine out of a love for animals and a desire to help others. After many years expanding her knowledge in general practice she earned her technician license in 2007.
She has a passion for client education and dentistry. She also loves to attend veterinary conferences to keep her knowledge sharp.
Audrey lives with her husband, son, cat named Turbo, and a German Shephard named Blazer. She enjoys family outings at the beach, kayaking, mt biking, and skiing.
Jasmine is a California-native that moved to the PNW 2 years ago. She has been in the Veterinary Medicine field for 4 years now and hopes to eventually become a Veterinarian herself, specializing in dog behavior.
She has her Veterinary Medication Clerk license, Wildlife & Forestry Conservation diploma and is certified in dog obedience training.
Her passion for animals, especially dogs, has motivated her to launch her own pet-sitting business, which she does outside of work.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, knitting/sewing, gardening, and hanging out with her two dogs: Hazel, a shih-poo and Truffle, a chihuahua mix.
The team here at Cobblestone Animal Hospital is proud to offer compassionate, skilled veterinary services to pets and owners in Issaquah, Issaquah Highlands, Pine Lake, Klahanie, Bellevue, Sammamish, Renton, Fall City, Snoqualmie, North Bend and the surrounding areas.
